All Friends of the Girard Free Library are invited to the annual May membership meeting on Tuesday, May 30 at 6:00 PM in the Community Room. The Library promoted a membership drive during National Library Week which resulted in new members and renewals of former members. All current Friends members and those interested in becoming a Friends member are welcome. The meeting will provide an opportunity to hear about the latest at the Girard Free Library from Director Pam Saganich and inform members of the vital role the Friends have played in supporting the Library. Other agenda items include an overview of the 2023 summer reading program, a Friends financial update, the election of officers, and discussion of future Friends events including the book sale and potential author and guest presentations. Please plan to attend to further the much-appreciated efforts of the Friends of the Girard Free Library.
