• How much of John F. Kennedy’s space program dream really came true?  On Tuesday, October 8 at 6 PM, Doug Fowler--former Youngstown State University adjunct instructor in both the Department of Geology and the Department of Physics and Astronomy--sheds new light on the Apollo program, discussing moon rocks, lunar geology, and the science accomplished by these missions.
  • On Thursday, October 17 at 5 PM, teens are invited to a spooktacular event. Special effects artist Jessica Duponty will show the kids how to make themselves into fangtastic vampires, unbelieveable undead, and other creepy creatures.
  • On Tuesday, October 22 at 6 PM, join Amy Bue, cofounder of Project Zoobook, a collaboration of scientists and field researchers looking into the topic of Bigfoot. Hear local stories and Amy’s perspective on why the topic of Sasquatch is worth diving into.
