Shop for bargains on used paperbacks, hardbacks, kids' books and other materials while supporting the Friends of the Girard Free Library. Hardback books will be $1 and paperback books will be $.50. The group's purpose is to support and assist the library. The Friends sponsor the summer reading program, purchase equipment and furnishing, and fund special events and speakers. This is their biggest book sale of the year.
Thursday, Sept. 7 from 11 AM to 7 PM
