Apollo 17: The Last Mission

Join us on Tuesday, January 14 at 6:00 pm, for an exciting and informative presentation on Apollo 17, the last manned mission to the Moon.  Doug Fowler, former Youngstown State University adjunct instructor in the Departments of Geology and Physics and Astronomy, will lead you through the groundbreaking discoveries made by astronauts Eugene Cernan, Harrison Schmitt, and Ronald Evans, who ventured to the Moon in December 1972.

Through historical insights and expert explanations, this program will also explore the advancements in space exploration technology and the legacy of Apollo 17 in shaping our current understanding of the Moon, as well as its impact on modern lunar missions.
