The Buckeye State has produced its share of wicked women; history and true crime writer Jane Ann Turzillo will share some of their stories on Thursday, October 14 at 6 PM. Hear about a failed actress from Conneaut turned Nazi propagandist, a Cincinnati gambling addict become a black widow, and a Cleveland madam who battled local police and governments, to name just a few.
Jane Ann Turzillo is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists and the Mystery Writers of America. Her crime reporting and column writing has garnered her awards from the National Federation of Press Women. Her other books include Wicked Women of Northeast Ohio, Ohio Heists, Unsolved Murders and Disappearances in Ohio, and Ohio Train Disasters. She will have books available to sell and sign.
