• This November, the Girard Free Library is holding our annual Food for Fines; the Library will offer up to $25 in fine forgiveness to anyone who donates at least two non-perishable food items to the Emmanuel Center. The last day to donate is Tuesday, November 26. 
  • Bring the family on Saturday, November 23 at 11 am for a free movie--Harold and the Purple Crayon.

By the end of the class participants should feel comfortable with Canva and know how to design, save, and share their own graphics.

Join instructor Ken Mediate to learn self-defense. Students will be taught awareness and prevention techniques, along with recognizing what the body and mind do naturally when faced with a violent situation.  ​This is for ages 16 and up.  Registration is required, and a $5.00 fee required at time of sign up.

Mr. Mediate has been participating in martial arts for over two decades.  He has taught private individuals as well as correctional officers and law enforcement.
