Retired history teacher Orlando Corsale will exhibit his collection of Native American arrowheads, pottery, and other relics and share his experiences searching for Eastern Woodland Native American artifacts.  Registration is required.

Do you have a dim understanding of the solar eclipse?  Doug Fowler--former adjunct instructor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Youngstown State University--will shine a light on this rare phenomenon.  Learn the science behind the eclipse and the safest ways to view the event.  Registration is required.  

The Library will not be distributing glasses at the event.

Block out an evening for Family Funtime on Monday, March 11 at 6 PM. It will be Lego Night at the Library. We will provide the bricks, and the kids will provide the creativity. We're building a sign-up list; call to reserve a spot.

The Easter Bunny arrives.

Aspiring chefs in grades two through six will learn cooking skills from scratch during these events. Library staff will lead the kids through basic recipes--from the assembly of ingredients to preparation of the food to sampling of the finished dish.  Registration is required. Please call 330-545-2508 to sign up by the preceding Tuesday so we have time to go to the grocery store.

Drop in for a free, family-friendly movie.  This month we're watching Wonka.  This fantasy musical film follows the story of Willy Wonka, the famous but eccentric chocolatier based on the character from Roald Dahl's novel. In particular, it emphasizes his rise to the top. The narrative traces his beginnings as a young adult who started as an employee selling chocolate in a store until he became driven to enter the chocolate industry eventually. This film acts as a prequel to the 1971 film adaptation of Dahl's novel.
