Infants and adult caregivers experience early sights and sounds through books and music. (Recommended age up to 12 months)

Jean-Michel Basquiat combined text, images, and graffiti to create visual collages.  Teens 12-18 will re-imagine their favorite book cover or their own journal cover in Basquiat style.  Registration is required.

How much do you know about BFFs in books, movies, and television shows?  Challenge yourself to a friends-themed trivia night!

Teens will showcase their lives and unique personalities by creating field guides…to themselves!  The Library will provide the materials--like scrapbook paper, book binding kits and washi tape--and the kids will document what is important to to them.

Get ready and get set.  Explore the library neighborhood and earn a medal for finishing our family fun run.

All Together Now--our 2003 summer reading program runs for eight weeks and features activities for all ages.  Beginning Monday, June 5, kids can pick up their reading logs and start earning stickers or brag tags.

Summer reading rides off into the sunset with an annual favorite--pony rides and a petting zoo.  No registration is necessary.

Aspiring chefs in grades two through six will learn cooking skills from scratch during these events. Library staff will lead the kids through basic recipes--from the assembly of ingredients to preparation of the food to sampling of the finished dish. Registration is required, and attendance is limited.  Please call 330-545-2508 to sign up by the preceding Tuesday so we have time to go to the grocery store.
