Is your garden overflowing with perennials?  Dig them up, throw them in a pot, carton, or cardboard box, label them, and bring them in to swap for something different or just to share.  Spring is a great time to thin out your planting beds and swap your perennials out for something different.

Aspiring chefs in grades two through six will learn cooking skills from scratch during these events. Library staff will lead the kids through basic recipes--from the assembly of ingredients to preparation of the food to sampling of the finished dish. Registration is required, and attendance is limited.  Please call 330-545-2508 to sign up by the preceding Tuesday so we have time to go to the grocery store.  This month we're making sloppy joe sliders.

What is your child's favorite book character? Is it Dog Man or the Tin Man? Fly Guy or Harriet the Spy? Pete the Cat or the Cat in the Hat? They can dress up as them at our next Family Funtime on Monday, May 8 at 6 PM. We will show the kids how to find their favorite in the Library and also what happens if you give a pig a pancake (hint: something delicious).

In the animated Rumble, aspiring monster wrestling coach Winnie takes on the challenge of coaching Rayburn, an inexperienced wrestler and charming underdog. Winnie and Rayburn aim to take down the monster wrestling world champion, Tentacular. Rumble is based on Rob Harrell's graphic novel Monster on the Hill.
