The Library will be closed Saturday, September 23.

The Library will close early at 5 PM.

Aspiring chefs ages eight through twelve will learn cooking skills from scratch during these events. Library staff will lead the kids through basic recipes--from the assembly of ingredients to preparation of the food to sampling of the finished dish. Registration is required, and attendance is limited.  Please call 330-545-2508 to sign up by the preceding Tuesday so we have time to go to the grocery store. 

Infants and adult caregivers experience early sights and sounds through books and music. (Recommended age up to 12 months)

October 8 through October 14 is Fire Prevention Week. We are thrilled that the Girard Fire Department will be special guests at Family Funtime next Monday, October 9 at 6 PM. They will be bringing a truck, reading stories, and showing how to stop, drop, and roll. No registration is necessary.

Support and assist the Library by joining our Friends group.

Candy corn was invented in the 1880s, but it didn't become popular until the 1950s. Celebrate this treat by making some sweet art.  This is for ages 12-18; registration is required.
