• This November, the Girard Free Library is holding our annual Food for Fines; the Library will offer up to $25 in fine forgiveness to anyone who donates at least two non-perishable food items to the Emmanuel Center. The last day to donate is Tuesday, November 26. 
  • Bring the family on Saturday, November 23 at 11 am for a free movie--Harold and the Purple Crayon.
  • Join us at 6:00 p.m. on December 3rd, for the Culture Book Group and discuss A Holly Jolly Diwali by Sonya Lalli, or December 4th for the Popular Literature Book Group and bring your favorite book and introduce it to others.

Library staff will lead the kids through basic recipes--from the assembly of ingredients to preparation of the food to sampling of the finished dish. Registration is required.
