• This November, the Girard Free Library is holding our annual Food for Fines; the Library will offer up to $25 in fine forgiveness to anyone who donates at least two non-perishable food items to the Emmanuel Center. The last day to donate is Tuesday, November 26. 
  • Join us at 6:00 p.m. on December 3rd, for the Culture Book Group and discuss A Holly Jolly Diwali by Sonya Lalli, or December 4th for the Popular Literature Book Group and bring your favorite book and introduce it to others.
  • On Saturday, December 7 at 1:00 p.m. teens can leave their caves to watch Jim Carrey's How the Grinch Stole Christmas and then grow their hearts three sizes by making a holiday stocking stuffer.

Our YA librarian and author Chelsea has gone viral. Her book signing experience has been shared on Twitter by Stephen King, Jodi Picoult, and Margaret Atwood, and she has been interviewed by NPR, BBC, and ABC. We're thrilled to host her Monday, December 19 at 6 PM. She will discuss her writing journey and self-publication process and read from her book.
