• This November, the Girard Free Library is holding our annual Food for Fines; the Library will offer up to $25 in fine forgiveness to anyone who donates at least two non-perishable food items to the Emmanuel Center. The last day to donate is Tuesday, November 26. 
  • Bring the family on Saturday, November 23 at 11 am for a free movie--Harold and the Purple Crayon.
  • Join us at 6:00 p.m. on December 3rd, for the Culture Book Group and discuss A Holly Jolly Diwali by Sonya Lalli, or December 4th for the Popular Literature Book Group and bring your favorite book and introduce it to others.

There will be wagging tails waiting for tales when K9's for Compassion return to the Girard Free Library Tuesday, October 25 from 6 PM to 7 PM. Children up to age twelve can read a story to one of the organization's trained therapy dogs. They will be all ears; call 330-545-2508 or stop in to RSVP for the paw-ty.
