Start your week discussing a comforting and engaging read. This month's title is The Long Quiche Goodbye by Avery Ames. Charlotte Bessette is on the verge of achieving a lifelong dream when she opens a cheese shop in her hometown of Providence, Ohio.  Her happiness is curdled, however, when right outside the shop Charlotte finds a body, the victim stabbed to death with one of her prized olive-wood handled knives.

Aspiring chefs in grades two through six will learn cooking skills from scratch during these events. Library staff will lead the kids through basic recipes--from the assembly of ingredients to preparation of the food to sampling of the finished dish. In January, they'll be working with a versatile comfort food--pasta.  Registration is required. Please call 330-545-2508 to sign up by the preceding Tuesday so we have time to go to the grocery store.
