Till is based on the true story of Mamie Till-Mobley and her pursuit of justice for her 14-year-old son Emmett Till, who was lynched in Mississippi in 1955.  Danielle Deadwyler gives an acclaimed performance.

Our Classics Book Group discusses Ernest Hemingway's first novel--The Sun Also Rises.  It follows a group of young, disillusioned British and American ex-patriates as they wander through Europe after World War I.  The center of the novel is the complicated relationship between war vet and journalist Jake Barnes and liberated socialite Lady Brett Ashley.

Library staff will lead the kids through basic recipes--from the assembly of ingredients to preparation of the food to sampling of the finished dish.
